Object explorer characters auto changed to upper-case or to upper-case in the search string. This is a minor annoyance in our team. Thank you

I'd like to see support added for DB2's admin task scheduler, including add, list, update, get status, and remove tasks. I see this as a separate object in Explorer.

I have created a Compare Document. When my password changes on one of the databases, I get the error in the Compare document WITHOUT the chance to go through the Change Compare Wizard. That's harsh, I have to go through the wizard AGAIN.

I need to modify some tables, changing all LOB columns from NOT LOGGED to LOGGED, which can't be done with the ALTER statement. I can accomplish this through the Toad GUI, and it does a good job of creating the script to unload the data, drop and recreate the table and related objects, and reload the data. This takes a few minutes per table. The problem is that I literally have hundreds of tables that need to be changed. I would love it if I could somehow call Toad via a line command, passing the necessary info like the table name, column name(s), what is to be changed, etc. and have Toad produce the scripts. This would save me many hours of navigating through the GUI. Is this possible?

It would be nice to have the ability to recalculate the necessary space for a tablespace or index based on the number of rows anticipated to be in a table. Currently, I use CAs space calculator.

Hi, Toad Devs! I use DB2 nicknames for a lot of my work. I would suggest you implement code complete for DB2 nicknames. It would save me a LOT of time :)
Thanks,
Dean

When you finish a Schema Compare, the only report you have is from the Print Preview. The information only counts differences.
I’m requesting an enhancement for a more robust report to do the following:
1. Report the actual differences and not just give you a count
2. Report the schema differences for more than one schema at a time
3. Some other ways to export the report other than Print | Preview

cannot specify timestamp format for source file when using import wizard. currently have to do it from clp:
db2 "load from /db2/backup/load/test.txt of del MODIFIED BY COLDEL; timestampformat=\"yyyy-mm-ddhhmmssuu\" replace into db2admin.test"
it would be very good to have this as an option.

What about an android app? With the use of tablets now all I need is a TOAD app and I can use the tablet to manage all my workload. Already use it for ssh to the servers.

The ability to disable "save password" on the GUI.
Oracle toad can do this with an "RESTRICTIONS=P" during install.
Currently if administrator to the box simply copy someones "connections.xml" file in the documents and settings for that user and you will have all their database password info if they have used the "save password".

I suggest you to add support of ALTER PROCEDURE/FUNCTION ADD/DROP VERSION and ALTER PROCEDURE/FUNCTION ACTIVATE VERSION ... operations in Database Explorer or routine editor form.

It would be nice to create a database model using the built-in Database Diagramm tool. Simply allow crafting of models using tables, views and FK/PK etc. A function to create the related SQL or even install the model would be of great help.
Additionally, it would be nice to allow modifications of existing data models using the Database Diagramm.

I suggest you to add a feature to calculate the space for a table and an estimation of blob columns.

Provide a graphical view of code relationships similar to the way Database Diagram provides a graphical view of table and view relationships so that code dependencies can be interpreted more accurately than the current text-based Dependencies tab.

Provide a reporting tool which reports and advises on various health aspects of LUW and z/OS databases including configuration, performance, storage allocation and clustering, etc.
